Hi, I’m Kim – the founder and heart behind Dog Town Grooming!

I started Dog Town because I wanted something different for my own dogs: a grooming studio that was kennel-free, calm, and built around trust and care. That vision turned into a space where dogs are treated like family—not just clients.

While I’m not a groomer myself, I’m deeply involved behind the scenes, making sure every part of the experience reflects the love and respect I have for dogs.

What truly sets Dog Town apart is our incredible team. Each member brings their own unique talents, but what truly sets them apart is how much they care. Every dog that walks through our doors is met with patience, gentleness, and genuine affection.

When I’m not at Dog Town, you’ll find me spending time with my family, out walking our dogs, biking, or hiking together. This business is a passion project—and we’re so excited to share it with you and your pup.

Hi, I'm Kristina!

I’m a Fear Free Certified professional pet groomer with over 20 years of experience in the animal industry. My background includes work in the veterinary field, with animal rescues and I’m also Pet First Aid Certified, ensuring every pet in my care is handled with the highest level of safety and compassion.

I’m known for my calm, patient approach and my refined eye for grooming. I take pride in creating a positive, low-stress experience for every dog that visits my table. I enjoy working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, focusing on thoughtful handling and grooming styles that complement each individual dog.

To me, grooming is more than a service, it’s an opportunity to build trust and provide a safe, welcoming environment where pets are treated with the same care and attention I give my own.

Outside the studio, I enjoy spending time with my family exploring the outdoors, browsing the library for our next great read, and making memories with our beloved pets.

Hi, I’m Bernie! I’ve always loved animals and naturally went into working with them. Meeting and caring for countless pets over the past 8 years has been a pleasure and I particularly enjoy building trust with nervous dogs and rescues. I love a good deshed and especially grooming huskies with their silly personalities.

Outside of the studio, you’ll find me working on various art projects, snuggling with my kitties, or biking on our awesome pathways around the city!

Hi, I’m Hannah—and I’ve always preferred dogs over humans (no offense!). Their quirks, loyalty, and adorable faces make every day brighter. I grew up in a small town, and I’ve brought that same cozy, down-to-earth care to the big city with our small-town-style grooming salon.

I treat every dog like family, with plenty of patience, care, and maybe a silly voice or two. When I’m not elbow-deep in suds and fur, you’ll  find me curled up with a good fantasy novel—lost in magical worlds—snacking like it’s a hobby, or crafting something just to justify my copious amounts of craft supplies. 

I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—from horses to reptiles—and they’ve always been a huge part of who I am. I’ve worked in dog training and boarding facilities, spent five years as a veterinary assistant, and later completed my education in veterinary assisting. Caring for animals and building trust with them is truly my passion.

When I’m not with animals, I love spending time with my family, friends, and my own pets, or heading out for a hike, climb, or a cozy movie night.
